2010 Goals

Because of the numerous goals I have planned for this year, I decided to sort them by month. I’ll state some overhead goals and then post specific goals for January, February and March. At the end of March, I’ll review and post the next three months’ goals. Let’s hope this works!

OVERALL GOALS
Read three books.
Become more active in my community and university.
Lose 10 pounds.
Conquer my fear of driving.
Go to Washington DC.
Become a better and more proficient artist.
Give hobbies AWOW and Marker Slave more attention.
Work towards 2011 goal of graduating cum laude if available.

January
Begin reading A Manual for Living - Epictetus.
Join at least one club or organization at Park University.
Drive to at least one place I don’t usually drive.
Create a snail-mail list.
Submit survey to IRB by mid-January.
Begin Saving for Washington DC - $100/mo.
Five pages of PK.
Walk at least 30 minutes a week.
Ask about cum laude.

February:
Finish reading A Manual for Living - Epictetus
Rejoin all of the professional organizations I was once a part of but had to leave for financial reasons.
Drive to at least one place I don’t usually drive.
Attend at least one important on-campus meeting or activity.
Submit interviews to IRB by mid-February.
Save for Washington DC - $100/mo.
Five pages of PK.
Walk at least 30 minutes a week.

March
Begin reading Lord of the Rings - JRR Tolkien.
Finalize storyline for A World Once Was.
Drive to at least one place I don’t usually drive.
Create online mailing list.
Attend at least one important on-campus meeting or activity.
Finalize character designs and landscapes in sketches for children’s book.
Save for Washington DC - $100/mo.
Five pages of PK.
Walk at least 30 minutes a week.

By the end of March, I should have…
Read one book.
Joined four organizations.
Lost two pounds.
Produced fifteen pages of PK.
Completed all research for my Honors project.
Begun saving for Washington DC.
